Supporting our local community and helping raise vital funds for children and young people’s mental health.

At Harrogate Organics, we believe wellbeing is about more than the products we create. It’s also about the communities we’re part of and the people who make them special.

That’s why we’re proud to be one of the sponsors of Mental Elf 2026, organised by Mind in Harrogate District. This festive fun run brings together families, friends and local businesses for a morning of festive fun, all in support of children and young people’s mental health.

What is Mental Elf?

Mental Elf is a festive 5K fun run designed to bring people together, encourage movement and raise vital funds for local mental health services.

Taking place on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Conyngham Hall in Knaresborough, the event welcomes people of all ages and abilities. Whether you prefer to walk, jog or run, you can take part at your own pace, with no previous running experience needed.

Festive fancy dress is encouraged, with entertainment and a competition for the best-dressed participants, including dogs.

Why supporting young people’s mental health matters

Mental Elf raises funds for Mind in Harrogate District’s children and young people’s mental health services. These include counselling for young people aged 11–18, mental health drop-in sessions, wellbeing workshops in schools and youth clubs, and resources for parents and carers supporting young people who are struggling.

Access to the right support can make a meaningful difference to a young person and the people around them.

Last year, Mental Elf raised an incredible £6,500 for local children and young people’s mental health services. This year, the aim is to build on that success and raise even more. Every participant, donation and act of support helps contribute to that goal.

As a brand focused on everyday wellbeing, we know the importance of looking after ourselves and one another. Supporting Mental Elf gives us the opportunity to contribute beyond our products and be part of something positive happening right here in our local community.

• Registration opens: 9.30am

• Festive entertainment: From 10am

• Fancy dress competition: 10.30am

• Fun run starts: 11am

You can walk, jog or run the 5K route, and dogs are welcome on a short lead. Children can also take part when accompanied by an adult.
