That means, often, faster help with muscle cramps, better sleep, and a calmer mind.

Plus, it's so easy to use - just spray and go. So if you're ready to feel the power of magnesium, skip the pills and give the spray a try. Your body will thank you.

Vast amounts of customer feedback confirm that, not only is it a more effective way to get your daily dose of magnesium, but you'll feel the effects much faster.

Where do I spray it?

Magnesium spray offers a simple and yet, effective way for you to experience the healing benefits of this mineral. To get the most out of it, we recommend spraying it behind knees and inside elbows where your skin is thinner. However, this isn't a rule, so feel free to use it where needed. You can let it soak in naturally or simply rub in gently.

Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas of the skin and body.

Does Magnesium spray really work?

This very much depends on you, as everyone is different. In the same way not every medicine on the planet works the same way and has the same effect on everyone, magnesium is no different. Taking magnesium is not a new concept, but most of us don’t do it enough. And the regular way of taking it orally is just not that effective.

Magnesium tablets VS Magnesium Spray

Magnesium tablets and magnesium sprays are two different forms of magnesium supplements that can be used to increase magnesium intake in the body. Magnesium tablets are ingested orally and need to be broken down by the digestive system before the magnesium can be absorbed into the bloodstream. On the other hand, magnesium spray is applied topically to the skin and is absorbed directly into the bloodstream through the skin. While both forms of magnesium can be effective in increasing magnesium levels, some people may prefer the convenience and ease of taking tablets, while others may find the spray more convenient or effective for their specific needs.

What is RLS (restless leg syndrome) and can Magnesium help?

Restless leg syndrome is more than just an uncomfortable urge to move your legs. For some people it can cause a crawling, creeping feeling in the feet and calves that worsens during the evening or night - sometimes even affecting their arms. This condition isn't uncommon either. Many cases occur daily for varying periods of time with severe intensity levels that could disrupt your everyday life activities. It's also linked to periodic limb movements (PLM), where irregular jerking motions happen involuntarily within a persons limbs while asleep or at rest due to nerve dysfunction from restless leg issues.

Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) can be caused by underlying health conditions like iron deficiency or kidney failure, known as secondary RLS. It is known to affect 1 in 5 pregnant women during the last term of their pregnancy. Fortunately, there have been successful studies that suggest magnesium can provide relief from mild to moderate cases of insomnia related to this condition. The Charity RLS (UK) advocates for using a Magnesium oil spray on legs.

Magnesium therapy may be the key to unlocking a good night's sleep for those suffering from mild or moderate restless leg syndrome (RLS) and periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD). In one 2006 case study, magnesium treatment was found to alleviate even severe RLS symptoms in pregnant patients.

What makes Harrogate Organics Magnesium Spray special?

This is commonly one of our most asked questions. The answer is extremely simple. Yes, our ingredients are of the best quality, yes, we dont test on animals, and yes, we are an ethical company that sources from sustainable sources.

But they aren't the main reasons. What separates us from the rest, is the experience of use. Because we are real people who have had real problems in the past ourselves, we set out to make a spray that didn't do an number of things our competitors did.

1. Our spray doesn't stain clothing or bed linens.

2. It doesn't sting or cause irritation like some cheaper brands.

3. Being water-based, it absorbs faster.

4. Its non-greasy and applies evenly.

5. It doesn't smell overpowering.

This is why we are so good, and why our customers love us.

What is Magnesium spray good for?

Magnesium is essential to keeping your body functioning properly, from muscle contractions and signals between cells to regulating calcium levels. Magnesium oil sprays can help put all this in balance by calming tired muscles, easing painful cramps associated with PMS or constipation and helping to balance the body's chemistry.

Can kids use it too?

It's important to be mindful about the amount of magnesium your children get every day, which can vary based on you childs age. As a general guideline: children aged 1-4 need 80 mg daily; kids aged from 5 - 8 should aim for 130 mg/day; and ages 9 – 13 require 240mg per day. If you are looking into topical ways to provide supplemental amounts of magnesium, try not to over think it. Think of applying Magnesium spray like taking a dip in an ocean full of mineral salts, which we dont limit by time. Research suggests the body regulates its own intake. That being said we recommend use, only on children 5 years and above.

Is it true it can cause diarrhoea?

Magnesium is beneficial for relieving constipation, but taking too much can lead to diarrhea. To avoid this side effect and ensure your body receives the proper amount of magnesium, try breaking up the amount you apply throughout the day instead of taking one big amount at once. You can also water it down if you feel your're getting too much.

For those who can't get enough magnesium through their diet, trying oral supplements isn't always the answer. In some cases, smaller intermittent doses won’t suffice, because our bodies simply process it too quickly for absorption to occur properly.

However if you find yourself worrying about potential digestive issues, rest assured, transdermal Magnesium is a much more measured solution.

Is Magnesium spray safe?

A soak in the sea can’t hurt, but too much of a good thing doesn't necessarily apply to transdermal magnesium. You'll be happy to know that toxicity from Magnesium is rare due to our body's ability to easily excrete excess amounts in the urine with healthy kidneys - though if you do have kidney disorders it's best practice to always check in with your GP before adding any new supplement into your daily routine.

Can it really help me?

If you're looking for an effective way to reduce muscle tension and alleviate headaches, it is definitely worth a try. Athletes struggling with cramping or people with Restless Leg Syndrome can find great relief from this fast-acting form of therapy. Magnesium spray is also suitable for children who are unable to take it orally. Furthermore, its antibacterial properties may make it useful in treating skin conditions such as eczema and acne while reducing body odour and helping wounds heal faster.

Tips to increase effectiveness?

Top-Tip:

To help soothe aching muscles and joints, try this top-tip. Apply our Magnesium spray to the affected area. Then use a hot compress towel to drive absorption and push the mineral deeper into your skin for even greater relief. Wetting a small towel in hot water (as comfortably warm as possible) and placing it over the sore spot can really make all the difference - when cooled down, repeat as necessary.

What time of day should I take it?

Magnesium spray isn't just a bedtime thing. Throughout the day, Magnesium could be your perfect companion. If you experience tension or muscle tightness, start with topical magnesium to ensure that muscles and nerves stay relaxed. Taking it before stressful days can also help keep your cortisol levels in check for better concentration and more endurance. And when sweat is involved (like after workouts), don't forget to replace all that lost magnesium so you'll have enough energy at a cellular level no matter what time of day it is.

Using Magnesium for sleep really is super easy, just apply before bedtime, then layback and relax and let it works its magic.

Can I use this while pregnant?

Pregnancy can come with many discomforts, one of them being leg cramping. Research has found that transdermal magnesium applied to the skin is a safe and effective way for expecting mums to relieve their symptoms. This mineral also works in tandem with others such as potassium, calcium and sodium which could be low if you are experiencing severe pain in your legs during pregnancy.

Can I take oral supplements at the same time of transdermal?

The simple answer is, yes. However, it's important to keep in mind your total intake of Magnesium per day, as your diet may also contain Magnesium also.
